We’ll start the day early with a guided visit to Merkato & Shola market one of Africa’s largest open-air markets. This is a sensory explosion of color, sound, and energy — and a wonderful insight into daily life in Addis. In the afternoon, we’ll slow things down with an interactive Ethiopian cooking class, where you’ll learn how to prepare signature dishes and spice blends, with vegetarian options available. It’s a hands-on and delicious way to deepen your connection to the culture.
